Lambert & Foster planning department .................................................................................................................................. We’ve developed a full range of rural planning services to identify and realise development potential, including:
We’ve extensive experience of reusing redundant rural buildings which may have traditional or historic importance and be suitable for residential use. More recently we have expanded into re-use of post-war buildings by employers: Against a backdrop of more restrictive rural planning policy, we’ve found our skills helpful in drawing up Certificates of Lawful Use for our landowner and tenant clients. This is particularly relevant when agriculturally-occupied houses or farm buildings have changed from their original use. We now offer complementary expertise in re-use of brownfield and greenfield land. This includes identifying and bringing forward land through the local plan process for residential or commercial development, amenity or leisure purposes. We promote individual sites within a built development, in conjunction with our surveyors. Our expertise and services range from: • appraising sites • identifying policies in Government guidance, regional guidance, structure plan and local plan policies • presenting planning and development drawings for Full Applications and Listed Building consents • preparing and submitting Planning Applications (including negotiating with local planning authorities) • developing proposals for full working drawings, Building Regulation and complementary regulations • drawing up Certificates of Lawful Established Use • establishing agricultural occupancy conditions • making representations against enforcement action, contravention notices and other planning controls • formulating Planning Appeals • pioneering promap mapping for the South East region For more details, please contact Nick Brandreth at our planning department on:
