From Charing village on the A20 to the north, take the Pluckley Road heading south west out of the village. Pass over the M20 and Channel Tunnel rail link and proceed through the village of Pluckley, and after 1.8 miles the property will be found on the right-hand side just before the railway bridge.

SITUATION: Dering Lodge Barn is located on the rural outskirts of Smarden parish in between Smarden and the historic village of Pluckley. Both villages have basic ranges of village amenities and are located in a rural yet assessable location with access to the A20 some 4.5 miles to the north east, with its onward connections to Maidstone and the M20 some 17 miles to the west. The market town of Ashford with its fast international rail links to Europe and London St. Pancras in approximately 36 minutes, is located around 7.5 miles to the south east. Pluckley has a main line rail station connecting to London Bridge Station in 1 hour and 4 minutes with connections every 30 minutes. Onward connections link to Charing Cross and Cannon Street. Direct trains run to London Victoria from nearby Charing.

DERING LODGE BARN

Dering Lodge Barn is located to the immediate south of a pretty Pluckley style Game Keepers Lodge House with a shared access off the Pluckley Road. PLANNING HISTORY: Prior Approval for a Change of Use from an Agricultural Barn to one Dwelling and associated Operational Development was granted by Ashford Borough Council on 27th January 2017 Ref: 16/01776/AS (subject to conditions). 

Notes:
