auctions at Lambert & Foster
.................................................................................................................................. Regular Property, Farm Machinery and Livestock Auctions have been run by Lambert & Foster for well over 100 years
The annual calendar of auctions provides for regular sales. The following is a list of the types of auctions we deal with.
Property
Specialising in Rural properties, auctions are held in March, May, July, October and December at the Grange Moor Hotel, Maidstone.
Antiques and Furniture
Monthly sales take place at our specialist Tenterden Sale Rooms catering for a whole spectrum of Antiques and Collectibles.
Livestock
Based at the Maidstone Auction Market, Detling, seasonal sales of Store and Breeding Cattle and Sheep are organised. Lambert & Foster are official Auctioneers to Southdown Sheep Society, Sussex Cattle Society and Romney Sheep Breeders.
Fruit Sales
Held twice a year at Horsmonden, these sales of "growing fruit on the tree" are the largest of their type in the world.
Collective Sales
Catering for entries of just about anything including the kitchen sink, these sales are based at our Keylands Salefield at Paddock Wood in April, July and September.
In Situ Sales
Twice yearly event held at Horsmonden Village Hall, specifically for the sale of farm machinery and equipment “in situ” on premises in Kent and Sussex.
Farm Dispersals
These are arranged as required to deal with on site dispersals of farms, workshops and garages, often following sale of the premises or retirement.
Classic Cars
An annual event held every May at the Hop Farm Country Park at Paddock Wood. The sale includes automobilia and collectibles as well as a whole range of vintage and veteran vehicles from affordable projects to valuable concours examples.
