The Farming Equipment and Technology Fund opens for new applications on 17th March.
Funding is available for grants towards the cost of 290 specific items that will help your enterprise cut costs, improve efficiency and protect profits across 3 themes:
- Farm Productivity – items that improve efficiency and strengthen profitability such as autonomous UV-C light treatment, rainwater harvesting tanks, and robotic silage pushers
- Animal Health and Welfare – ventilation and biosecurity equipment that brings improvements while supporting production quality and consistency.
- Slurry Management – to make the most of valuable nutrients while improving air and water quality. Items include robotic slurry collectors; flow-rate monitoring equipment; and low-emission spreading equipment
You can apply for £1,000 to £25,000 per theme, with a combined maximum of £75,000 across the three themes.
