Telecommunications
The telecommunications industry has been through significant change following the introduction of a new version of the Electronic Communications Code, which took effect on 28th December 2017. The new Code provided the Operators with significantly more power, making lease negotiations significantly harder. We act on behalf of landowners to negotiate terms of new agreements and lease renewals, and to negotiate rents at rent reviews. We also have extensive experience in the sale and valuation of telecoms sites.
Renewables
The renewables industry provides rural property owners with significant opportunity. We have a wealth of experience in this sector, including solar, battery storage and wind, often negotiating lease terms on behalf of landowners to maximise rents, whilst ensuring our client’s interests are protected under what are often long term leases.
