NOW OPEN: BPS Application & Countryside Revenue Claim Window
The application window for 2022 Basic Payment Scheme claims opened this week. The window will remain open until Monday 16th May. However, it is worth considering your application early to allow time for making any necessary changes from last year.

Also open until only Monday 16th May, is the window for Countryside Stewardship Revenue and Capital Claims. The former must be made annually throughout the life of the agreement to secure the income, and the latter at regular intervals, so it is important these are not forgotten.
For those considering Countryside Stewardship for the first time this year, the key dates to be mindful of are as follows:
- 31st March – deadline for requesting a Higher Tier application pack
- 29th April – deadline for submitting Higher Tier application
- 27th May – deadline for requesting a paper Mid Tier application pack (no deadline for online applications)
- 29th July – deadline for submitting Mid Tier and Wildlife Offer applications
For those of you waiting for the Sustainable Farming Incentive, an application date has not yet been announced but it is expected to be later in the year.
If you would like assistance with these applications, or any other aspect of Rural Payments, please do contact a member of the team who would be happy to help.
