The new Slurry Infrastructure Grant

The Government have announced the new Slurry Infrastructure Grant, which is intended to help both land owning and tenant, pig, beef and dairy farmers improve and expand slurry storage capacity. It is intended that this will assist with making better use of organic nutrients on the farm, improve water and air quality and reduce greenhouse gases.
The grant supports replacing, building additional or expanding existing slurry stores to achieve a minimum of 6 months’ serviceable slurry storage capacity based on existing livestock numbers. The infrastructure necessary for the basic functioning of the store is also included. The grant provides a fixed contribution towards the cost of each of the items you need, with funding between £25,000 and £250,000 available for each applicant business. It should be noted that the application process is competitive, with projects which have the greatest environmental benefit being prioritised.
If this grant is of interest, but you would like some more information, have questions or would like assistance with making an application, please contact any member of the team.
